Stylish Easter Baskets.

Easter Sunday we were getting ready to go to my parents house for the evening. The kids were very excited because they were taking their Easter baskets with them to do a jelly bean hunt with my parents. As we were getting ready to leave our house Eva was getting very excited to get there. She was the first one ready and standing at the door to go. You could hear her saying "come on guys." Then she came into our room to check if we were ready and told my husband, "hurry up daddy before my Easter basket goes out of style!" My Eva bear is so cute!

It's Egg Time!

This was the first time for us to make Easter eggs at our house. In the past we have done them at Grandma's house. It was a lot of fun! And the girls did a very good job.

It was a good activity to do since Mimi has had a 4 day weekend.  I even made Resurrection Eggs for the kids this year. Now that the girls are getting bigger they are able to understand how and why Christ died for us and the Resurrection Eggs helped with that.

Now that Flavi is 2 this year he was able to enjoy hunting for eggs.

We had such a good time making and hunting for eggs!!!

Toothless!!!

My Mimi finally lost her first tooth last night! I am so proud of her. She is growing up so fast. Its been fun watching her play with her tooth all week and last night she came running out of her bedroom bleeding from her mouth and so happy she had pulled it out!! We don't believe in the tooth fairy but we do put the tooth under the pillow for money. She was so excited last night she couldn't stop talking and checking on me to make sure I knew which pillow on her bed she had put the tooth under. She is such a big girl!!

THE CIRCUS!!

I TOOK THE KIDS TO THE CIRCUS FOR THE FIRST TIME!
          MIMI WANTS TO BE APART OF THE TRAPEZE ACT!  

                  EVA WANTS TO BE AN ELEPHANT TRAINER!

AND FLAVI WANTS TO DIVE THE MOTORCYCLES! SO I GUESS MY KIDS ARE GOING TO GROW UP AND ALL JOIN THE CIRCUS!!! :)

Footsteps

Flavi loves wearing boots! Any boots he can find around the house he will put on. This morning they were mine. Seeing him walk around in my boots showing everyone saying "mama's boots" reminded me of a couple verses....

1 Peter 2:21

To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps.

Proverbs 22:6

Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.

My prayer is that as I try to follow in the steps of Christ I will leave a good example to my children to do the same. That my example to them will be one that is showing of Christs love for us and that His way is unfailing.
