2013 How Time Goes By.
The summer has come and gone. We went to VBS for the first time this year and had a blast!! Flavi was old enough to go too!!
Our church did an outreach in one of the low income areas here. It was so much fun to watch the members of the church be excited and working together to reach out to the people of the neighborhood. We did many different stations like face painting, nail station, bouncy house and lots of games. Also a time for worship (which is my favorite time).
The outreach was a good time to teach my children about how important it is to tell EVERYONE about Jesus. How we all need Jesus in our lives and how we as Christians have the responsibility to tell others about him.

There is never Enough Time for it All.
Well I have gotten a little behind on my blogging. Life has gotten busy and I have found less time to be on the computer. Which I guess can be a good thing!
Life has been moving a long and keeping us pretty busy.
Homeschool is going great! The kids and I are having a fun time learning all kinds of new things. We never seem to have enough time to get everything in in one day. I am very happy how well the kids are taking being at home. Its fun to watch them play along with each other and how well they have gotten into the routine of things. The other day Mimi made a comment to me. She said, "Mommy, I like being in homeschool. I get to do my school work, play and be at home with my family all before public school gets out for the day."
A few weeks ago we took a field trip to a local pumpkin patch. My mom came along with us and it was a blast. We just played and played!! It was fun for all of us and we all got a pumpkin out of the whole thing! I like being able to experience these things together at the same time. I'm thankful God gave our family this opportunity to homeschool.
Eva jumping around in the hay stack maze.
Fun hay wagon rides.
Funny cute pictures of my little "pumpkins"!
Mimi named her pumpkin Spookley.
Everyone picked out the pumpkin they thought was the best.
Even Gaby was trying to decided.

Museum Day
FIELD TIRP!!! We went on a field trip!! We have a western town museum with live actors that's a really fun place to visit. I had gone many times in the past when I was a kid and loved it!!
As a lap book series we have been reading The Little House On The Prairie book. So it was the perfect field trip to take.

We had such a fun time learning a bit about out history.
It's a great place to explore with many hands on thing for the kids to enjoy.
Along with a Native American Indian exhibit.
In the school yard they had many old games for the kids to play with. I even had fun playing along with them.
The school house is my favorite! When I was in first grade my class took a day and had school in the little school house. So I had fun playing school there with my children.
It was a wonderful day and a wonderful experience. We can't wait to go back!

Wonderful Wedding Weeked
The kids and I are still on our vacation. We are coming to the end of the second half of the trip. The first week we spent with family in Washington and this week we are with more family in Oregon. Last weekend was my brothers wedding. It was a wonderful time. Everything was beautiful!
Mimi and Eva were the flower girls. They looked so pretty and they did a great job. I'm so proud of them. Mimi was worrying the night before about what was the right way to throw the flower petals! That's how she is. So we prayed that night that God would help her and Eva on the day of the wedding to not worry and just have a good time. They did such a perfect job!! And they had a blast!!
My Flavi was the ring boy. He was so cute! Him and another little boy shared the job of carrying the ring pillow. I was a proud Mama!! He was the most handsome three year old ring boy I have ever seen! Even Gaby was great! She loved watching everything and stealing the hearts of all the aunts and uncles!!
I am so happy for my brother and new sister in law!! May The Lord bless them in their new journey together. Love you guys!!

More Farm Family Fun!
I feel so blessed to be able to spend time with my Washington family. It's been a long time since I've seen some of them. The kids and I have had a great time!
Being on a farm for 4 days has been good for my children. To just be able to run and play outside all day long means new adventures (even in the rain).

Moments To Remember
Myself and our four kids have taken a vacation together. My family lives in Washington state. And we are all getting together to celebrate my grandmothers birthday.
The kids and I took two airplanes from Kansas to get here. I am excited for all the new adventures and new discoveries my children will have. I have so many wonderful memories with my family here as a child that I want my children to share in that.
This part of the country is so different from our city life in Kansas. From the mountains and the ocean. To staying on my aunts farm and picking grapes. This is a whole new experience in learning. Another reason why I love homeschooling.
